Styling the Paintings

Today, I decided to style my paintings with some cool objects lying around the house. I painstakingly placed the canvasses alongside various items, trying to make it as lovely as possible. Everything looked great in real life, but through the lens of my (rather expensive) camera, it just wouldn't translate. I am not a photographer. Clearly, I am not. I'm working on it. For now, please enjoy what I was able to do.

I set this one up with a cool plant, a fur blanket, a vase with purple posies, and an old cypress root.

There was this butterfly outside I named Scraps and I followed it around the yard, gently placing the painting down next to it without scaring it away. I kept asking it sweetly not to move and ruin the shot.

I like the colors in this one. I set a chunk of malachite, the same vase as pictured above, and our prized whale vertebrae.
